Clinical Supervision and Consultation
Having been engaged in supervision, in both roles as supervisee and supervisor, over the past forty years, I have come to realize the value and power of the Consultative Model of Supervision.
The therapists I provide clinical supervision for, bring specific questions regarding the work with their clients, their own case formulation, session focus, tools and strategies that they are utilizing. I then offer my perspective on each of those areas - perspectives of others considered, alternative understandings of client's goals, objectives and hopes for change in their lives.
I see therapists individually or in dyads.
I can provide a single session consultation for any therapists practicing, who wish to obtain another opinion on how to move forward with a 'complex' client, or specific questions about using specific strategies and techniques. I am an approved clinical supervisor with Yorkville University and the CPRO and provide supervision for experienced therapists and therapists qualifying.
